What is IBO Player?
IBO Player is a versatile IPTV media player application available on virtually every major platform and operating system. With its clean user interface, smooth playback engine, and support for M3U playlists, Xtream Codes, and EPG guides, IBO Player is the definitive choice for ZeemTV subscribers.
The app is developed by a dedicated team and can be found on the official website at iboplayerapp.com. It supports Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV), Amazon Fire Stick, Android devices, iPhones and iPads, Windows PCs, and macOS computers.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the following before beginning the setup:
- An active ZeemTV subscription or Try 1 Month credentials (M3U URL or Xtream Codes login)
- A stable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps for 4K)
- Your device powered on and connected to the internet
Step 1: Install IBO Player
On Smart TV (Samsung / LG / Android TV)
Open your TV's app store and search for "IBO Player." Download and install the application. On Samsung TVs, use the Smart Hub; on LG TVs, use the LG Content Store; on Android TV, use the Google Play Store.
On Amazon Fire Stick
Navigate to the Amazon Appstore on your Fire Stick and search for "IBO Player." If the app is not available in your region, you can sideload it using the Downloader app:
- Install the "Downloader" app from the Amazon Appstore
- Enable "Apps from Unknown Sources" in Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options
- Open Downloader and enter the IBO Player APK URL from the official website
- Install the downloaded APK file
On Android Phones and Tablets
Open the Google Play Store, search for "IBO Player," and tap Install. The app is free to download with a one-time activation fee.
On iPhone and iPad
Open the Apple App Store, search for "IBO Player," and download it. Available for iOS 13 and later.
On Windows PC and macOS
Visit the IBO Player official website (iboplayerapp.com) and download the desktop application for Windows or macOS. Install it like any standard application.
Step 2: Get Your Device ID and Key
After installing and launching IBO Player for the first time, you will see an activation screen displaying two important pieces of information:
- Device ID -- A unique identifier for your device
- Device Key -- A security key paired with your device
Write these down or take a photo. You will need them in the next step.
Step 3: Activate Your Device
Open a web browser on any device (phone, computer, tablet) and navigate to iboplayerapp.com. Look for the "Activate" or "Add Playlist" section. Enter your Device ID and Device Key from Step 2.
Step 4: Enter Your ZeemTV Credentials
On the activation portal, you will be asked to enter your IPTV playlist information. ZeemTV supports two connection methods:
Method A: Xtream Codes (Recommended)
- Server URL: The server address provided in your ZeemTV welcome email
- Username: Your ZeemTV username
- Password: Your ZeemTV password
Method B: M3U URL
Alternatively, paste the full M3U playlist URL provided in your ZeemTV welcome email into the playlist URL field.
Step 5: Start Watching
Once your credentials are entered and saved, close and reopen IBO Player on your device. The app will load your ZeemTV channel list, VOD library, and EPG guide automatically. Browse through categories, search for specific channels, and enjoy your premium IPTV experience.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Channels not loading: Double-check your credentials. Ensure your subscription is active and your internet connection is stable.
- Buffering: Switch to a wired Ethernet connection for best results. Reduce stream quality to HD if your connection is below 25 Mbps.
- EPG not showing: Go to IBO Player settings and enable the EPG feature. Allow a few minutes for the guide data to download.
- App crashes: Clear the app cache and restart your device. Ensure you are running the latest version of IBO Player.
